Starting Out

So I've just launched this blog to kind of get things off my chest and out of my head. Haven't blogged since I was posting tidbits at downloadablesuicide.com, and I hope to keep this up a bit better than I had there. So a bit about me...

I'm Greg Kline, most of my friends call me Noct, Nacht, or some variation on either. That's probably one of the only times I'll say my real name on here. That's me in the picture up there! I'm a digital artist and photo editor in Southern California. I listen to a lot of metal/goth/industrial; I'm also big on classic rock although my favorite band is Sublime, we'll get to as why at some point in this blog series. I play a lot of PC games, I'm a geek, I play and DM Dungeons&Dragons, play magic the gathering. So I definitely love role playing games, fantasy is my favorite setting for a game or any book I read. I only follow 2 comics really, both by Robert Kirkman, which are "the walking dead" and "invincible".

I'm a huge fan of second life. It's there that I can be myself more than anywhere else. I can build and sell my creations. I get to role play in a dozen different settings, make new friends to hang out with, and go out and do the impossible. I run my own store on there known as The Schwag and Swagger. A fantasy items shop with a rather miscellaneous altogether stock. I play a bit of "Gor" on there. No I'm not "Gorean lifestyle", I just love the setting for role play. I'll probably have several a post about second life on here.

I pretty much grew up in So Cal. Born and raised here, been out of the country only a few times in my life been out of the state a whole bunch. I made the mistake of going out of state for college. I went to a trade school even in Arizona. I'm always in and out of some minimum wage job. I really am always on the look out for an opening at revolve clothing's photo editing department. I have a few friends working there right now, and I know I could bring some new blood and help catch things up in a pinch there, but oh well, here's to hoping to get my dream job.

Anyways, I think that's enough of a bio on me for now. I'm going to mess with the tools on this things and see what it is this thing can really do. Take it easy.
